Live from New York City.
Galileo and the Leaning Tower of Pizza

Ping Pong Ball Science Magic
(Full 10-Minute Routine)
This is the finale of the 2015 ASTC Live Demo Hour. 500+ people in the audience.
I used a liquid nitrogen explosion to launch 2500 white ping pong balls into the air. Mixed in were 52 orange ping pong balls, each with the name of a playing card on it. My job was to catch the one ping pong ball printed with the card which was randomly selected by someone from the audience.
The Gravity Demo
General Relativity for the general public. Einstein’s theory demonstrated in a way that you’ve never seen before!
ASTC Live Demo Hour – 2011
Jodi Schoemer and I did a routine where we built giant puppets from simple machines. Then brought the puppets to life.
World Science Festival 2016
Highlights – 3 min
This is a shorter Highlights version of my performance with Alan Alda at the World Science Festival.
It was so much fun!
Galileo and the Leaning Tower of Pizza
Erin Prestia-Robins and Benjy Schirm doing the climax of the Galileo show. For some reason, one of the water balloons wouldn’t break. I laugh every time I watch.
Ping Pong Ball Science Magic
(Slow Motion Explosion Only)
This is a SLO-MO clip of just the explosion.
It was like a mushroom cloud of 2500 ping pong balls.
Watch how high the garbage can jumps off of the stage.
ASTC Live Demo Hour – Hawaii
Sherry Marshall used liquid nitrogen to shoot 3000 ping pong balls into the air. Then I came out for some Poi Juggling at the 3:40 mark! What a mess, but worth it.
